“Legendary” starring John Cena, running in select theaters nationwide on a total of 177 screens, did a very disappointing $135,000 in its first weekend despite a ton of promotion. While the theatrical release was designed to be small as they want to make more money on the DVD release with previous Cena films drawing better that way, it still wasn’t the greatest number.
