WWE: John Cena talks social media at the IMG Sports Marketing Symposium
NEW YORK – John Cena took part in the 10th Annual 2012 IMG Sports Marketing Symposium at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Times Square Wednesday evening where he spoke about the importance of social media in WWE.
The symposium is the premier gathering of sports marketing’s most influential decision-makers and provides an in-depth look at all marketing platforms behind which brands put their dollars and resources. The event addresses the best practices and emerging trends in sports marketing through case studies, roundtable discussions and featured interviews.
After a talking about how he engages the WWE Universe through social media, Cena invited the symposium attendees, which included decision-makers from companies that sponsor sports/entertainment properties, to a networking reception hosted by WWE where he met them.
